Prior to earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School, Dr. Tom Reed studied the behavioral and theoretical aspects of business, earning a BA in Economics from Miami University. After dental school, he completed a hospital residency program at The Ohio State University.
With over 29 years of experience as both a skilled general practitioner and business owner, Dr. Reed has established himself as a trusted figure in oral healthcare in Colorado. Having run a multi-location practice, Dr. Reed understands the complexity of practicing at scale. He now operates a fee-for-service practice focused on both comprehensive restorative care and family practice. Dr. Reed also serves the unique oral health care needs of patients at Craig Hospital through his non-profit organization Linked to Craig.
His dedication to the profession has led to co-founding Dynamic Dental Ascension to fold time for his fellow colleagues while maintaining a lifelong commitment to learning. "A mentor should be equally on the learning frontier with their mentee. I had great mentors myself growing up, and it’s taken me the better part of my career to get to this level where I feel like I’m now a teacher. We are in the trust business first and foremost."
Outside of the office, Dr. Reed and his wife Shelley stay active with their three college-age children, enjoying daily fitness routines and exploring the beautiful outdoors—whether on skis, by bike, or on foot. He also remains committed to giving back, actively volunteering within his community.

Dr. Green always knew he wanted to own a dental practice. In 2016—just three years out of dental school at Temple University and with his clinical skills sharpened—he set out to discover what that path could look like. Would he pursue a partnership with a senior doc, acquire an existing practice, or take a leap of faith on a startup? Ultimately, he chose to invest in himself and build from the ground up.
Anyone who’s been through a startup knows that deciding to open your own practice is only the first step—once the doors open, the real work begins. Dr. Green quickly realized that running a successful practice would require intentional growth as both a leader and a businessman. It wasn’t easy, but it paid off. Within five years, he had grown a six-operatory practice to $4.6 million in annual revenue with just 40% overhead. In recent years, he's earned the option to step away from clinical work and now helps other dentists replace or hedge their clinical income through alternative investments.
2022 brought its own highs and lows. Due to health issues, Dr. Green’s father was forced to retire from dentistry after 38 years. Dr. Green stepped in to lead the sale of his father’s Chicago-based practice and real estate—all while acquiring a second location in Colorado and welcoming his second child, Cameron, into the world.
In 2023, he executed a strategic partnership, capitalizing on one of the industry's highest EBITDAs per operatory by joining forces with an invisible DSO. This move allowed him to leverage the near-vertical five-year growth of Green Dental and opened new doors beyond clinical practice.
Today, Dr. Green is the co-founder of Dynamic Dental Ascension, an author of multiple dental books and manuals, a DSI Black Belt Coach, and founder of The Practice Launchpad, where he shares his playbook with ambitious dentists ready to succeed.
When he's off the clock, you’ll find Dr. Green embracing adventure in the Colorado Rockies with his wife Jenna, their children Rowyn and Cameron, and their loyal dog, Murphy. Family is his foundation, and the great outdoors is where he finds his spark.

Dr. Cody Boals, originally from rural Illinois, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Elmhurst College before completing his Master of Biomedical Science (MBS) and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Midwestern University in Downers Grove.
After meeting his wife, Alexa, in dental school, they moved to Colorado Springs to begin their dental careers and opened Kissing Camels Family Dentistry(KCFD) as a scratch start in 2018. Through grassroots marketing, intentional community involvement, and a relentless focus on patient experience, they grew the practice from 5 to 10 operatories and now have over 25 team members.
By combining clinical excellence with a clear marketing strategy, KCFD has grown to generate over $5 million in annual revenue. Dr. Boals founded LED Dental Marketing, a company dedicated to teaching dentists how to master grassroots marketing and build thriving, sustainable practices. He is passionate about helping other dentists define and achieve their vision, supporting both personal and practice growth.
Outside of dentistry, he and Alexa enjoy exploring Colorado with their daughter Henley and their son Theo. Dr. Boals also enjoys golfing, fishing, and long-distance running.
